Dashell "Dash" Dantes is like many... if not most of the "Pilots" who graduated from the Republic Military School's Center for Combat Studies. Known for their creative approach to battle tactics, "fighting spirit", along with fierce commitent to honor and duty, Dash typifies the Republic's persona for pilots.

Although opinions may vary among pilots or capsuleers, Dash holds the distinction for being the "oldest" surviving and living capsuleer in the annals of the Republic Military forces. Lost and marooned for over 120-years in his battle damaged and barely functioning capsul after a desperate battle with Amarr forces, he was discovered and rescued from safety cryogenic sleep by a stealth miner in an Endurance mining frigate.

Although restored to full health, Dash remains perplexed and dubious about life in space, leading-edge technologies and society over a century later. Determined to "soldier" on, he has no qualms about making the "best" of emerging opportunities for Republic capitalism and new frontiers in space exploration!
